HS : SAUDI FUTURISM 
Astronauts, spaceships, and intergalactic travel all seem light-years away from anything one associates with the Arab world – at least in terms of Western mainstream media portrayal. However, in this studio alternative histories are imagined to open up impossible futures where new meanings can be derived from history.

 In this studio, students will collectively imagine and define the Future of KSA. They will create wearable technologies that play on the intersection of imagination, the future, as well as the rich history of Saudi. Students will harness the power of research, design thinking, and rapid prototyping to develop futuristic clothing items of a world ready to be Imagined.

يبدو كل من رواد الفضاء وسفن الفضاء والسفر بين المجرات على بعد سنوات ضوئية من أي شيء يرتبط بالعالم العربي - على الأقل فيما يتعلق بتصوير وسائل الإعلام الغربية السائدة. ومع ذلك ، في هذا الاستوديو ، يتم تخيل تاريخ بديل يفتح آفاقًا مستحيلة حيث يمكن اشتقاق معاني جديدة من التاريخ.

في هذا الاستوديو ، سيتخيل الطلاب بشكل جماعي ويحددون مستقبل المملكة العربية السعودية. سوف يبتكرون تقنيات يمكن ارتداؤها تلعب على تقاطع الخيال والمستقبل بالإضافة إلى التاريخ الغني للسعودية. سيقوم الطلاب بتسخير قوة البحث والتفكير التصميمي والنماذج الأولية السريعة لتطوير عناصر ملابس مستقبلية لعالم جاهز للتخيل.
